Md Mujibul Anam

Mujibul Anam (Labib) is a PhD student in the school of Public Health and Social Work at the Queensland University of Technology, Australia. He is co-author of “Sex, Pornography and Medicines in the Markets of Dhaka”, in Lenore Manderson (Ed) Technologies of Sexuality, Identity and Sexual Health, London and New York: Routledge. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anthropology at Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. He has completed MA in Health and Society in South Asia at the Heidelberg University, Germany.

Chandan Kumar

Chandan Kumar is a PhD student in Science and Engineering Faculty at Queensland University of Technology (QUT). He completed his bachelor from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. During his bachelor, he was involved with Greater Rangpur Student Welfare Association (GRSWA) and different extracurricular activities including sports. He obtained industrial experience during his tenure in Ace Control Limited and Summit Power Limited, before joining at QUT.

Md Abul Bashar

Md Abul Bashar is a PhD student at Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia. His research area is Data Mining. He is also a lecturer (on study leave) at Comilla University, Bangladesh. Previously he was a Software Engineer at Structured Data System Limited, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He completed his B.Sc. (Engg.) in Computer Science and Engineering from Shah Jalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. He likes to share ideas with people.

Afrina Afrose

Afrina Afrose (Shanta) is a PhD student in Institute of Health and Biomedical Science(IHBI), school of Clinical Science, at the Queensland University of Technology, Australia. She is doing PhD in 'Crystallization engineering techniques for developing efficient Dry Powder Inhaler Formulation' commencing from february 2013. She is a Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy at South East University, Dhaka,Bangladesh. She has completed B.Pharm(2010) and MS(2012) in Pharmaceutical Science from Jahangirnagar University,Bangladesh.

Mia Mahmudur Rahim

Dr Mia Mahmudur Rahim is a lecturer of law in the QUT Business School at QUT. Previously, he taught law units at Macquarie University where he was pursuing his PhD with a Research Excellence Scholarship. He did his LLB with Honours and LLM from Dhaka University; LLM in International Economic Law from Warwick University as a Chevening Scholar; MPA from LKY School of Public Policy with NUS Graduate Scholarship. Before he joined academia, he was a lawyer and Deputy District and Sessions Judge in Bangladesh. He also worked for the Law Commission and the High Court of Bangladesh. He is a member of the Center for Legal Governance of Macquarie University and Technical Committee for Asian Consumer Protection Research Network.

Mia’s research interest includes legal regulation, corporate self-regulation, corporate social responsibility, social accountability regulation and legal research methods.

Shanchita Rahnuma Khan

Shanchita Khan is a PhD student at the School of Public Health and Social Work at QUT. She is planning to carry out a randomized controlled trial on fair-skinned indoor workers to determine the extent of effect sun exposure has on vitamin D levels. Shanchita previously studied Microbiology at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh and the University of New England, Australia. She worked as a lecturer at the Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology in the University of Dhaka before migrating to Australia.

AMIT JYOTI DATTA

My native is Chittagong. Passed SSC from Rajuk Uttara Model School & HSC from Notre Dame College. I completed my undergraduate from Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology(CUET) in Electrical Eingineering. Now I am doing Masters by research in Power Engineering. After undergrad I worked as a Lecturer in IUBAT(international university of business agriculture and technology). I was also associated with a consultancy company named Interchain consultants.
